About this hub

Local flavor, community ops, and hub identity.
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), commonly known as Sea-Tac, is among the fastest-growing airports in the United States. In 2023, SEA handled approximately 50.8 million passengers, nearing its pre-pandemic peak of 51.8 million in 2019. The airport serves as a significant international gateway, with Delta Air Lines operating more than 160 peak-day departures to over 50 destinations worldwide from SEA, including the most international destinations of any carrier at the airport. Notably, SEA experienced a record-breaking summer in 2023, with over 15.3 million passengers from June to August, including the busiest day in its history on July 24, when over 198,000 travelers passed through the airport.
Fun fact
Sea-Tac Airport’s parking garage is the second-largest parking lot (under one roof) in the world. Can you believe it? Even bigger than Disney!
