Our History
Established April 2018Fly Delta Virtual was established in April 2018 by a passionate group of flight simulator enthusiasts and Delta Air Lines fans. Since its inception, Fly Delta Virtual has become a premier virtual airline, operating under the callsigns of Delta Air Lines and their SkyTeam partners. Our mission is to create a realistic and engaging experience for aviation enthusiasts of all levels.
Milestones
The Beginning
We are proud to provide a professional and secure platform designed to meet the needs of our pilots. Our features include a highly skilled and dedicated staff team, custom ACARS software tailored for seamless flight tracking, a comprehensive flight training academy to support skill development, and an active social network to foster community and collaboration.
IT Expansion
In 2020, we expanded our IT team, enabling us to introduce innovative customizations to our pilot area and improve the overall user experience.
Black Box Virtual (BBV)
In 2021, we began developing our very own ACARS program, Black Box Virtual (BBV). After months of hard work, BBV officially launched in the fall of 2021, offering pilots a cutting-edge tool for tracking and managing flights.
Custom Crew System
Following the success of BBV, we developed a completely in-house and custom Crew System. To support this project, we migrated to a dedicated server. After over a year of development, we launched a brand-new website in 2022, accompanied by additional enhancements to BBV.
Website Updates & Crew Enhancements
In 2024, Fly Delta Virtual continued its commitment to innovation and user experience with significant updates to the website and Crew System. Building on the foundation established in previous years, the team introduced new features designed to streamline operations and enhance the pilot experience. The Crew System saw the addition of an Itinerary Generator, Generated Pay Statements, a "Trophies" System, and more, making it easier than ever for our pilots to plan and manage their flights.
